Body Fat Measurment: How does it work?
First it is necessary to program in your data regarding height, age and sex into the scale to accurately calculate the body fat proportion and proportion of water. When measuring body fat, an undetectable bioelectrical current is transmitted through the feet and into the body, with varying speeds being used to provide the proportion of body fat. This is then compared with personal details and the results are shown. The electrical signal used is innocuous to people and cannot be felt.
